Brethren, our Masonic year is coming to an end. I would like to thank all of you for your contributions this year toward our lodge as well as our fraternity. Each of you make our lodge able to continue to flourish and grow.
We have been busy since our last newsletter. We hosted a chili cook-off fundraiser that raised $500 for Milford’s Shop With A Hero program. Milford Lodge had the most members present at the 6th District Will program, where we took home the Master of the Year award. Our newest gun raffle is underway. It’s a shorter window of time before the raffle drawing on December 7th, so if you’re interested in purchasing or selling raffle tickets please get in touch with Larry Johnson or myself as soon as possible. At our stated meeting we presented Worshipful Brother David Daly with his lecturer bar, RWB Larry Gillinger announced he will be resigning as Trustee, and we made a motion to endow our chef, Eric, for all of his endless work and contributions for our lodge. We also assigned a committee of officers to reach out to any brothers who haven’t paid their dues for next year yet. If you receive a call from one of our officers, it’s a great opportunity to catch up and connect. If you haven’t paid your dues yet, please consider doing so sooner rather than later. Grand Lodge swiftly suspends all members with an outstanding balance on January 1st. If you need assistance with anything, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any of us at Lodge.
Our Dues Committee Chairman, WB Max Chaffin did speak on any feedback he received on our proposed dues increases that will be voted on in December. If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact him.
We do have some upcoming events, so please check out or events page. Elections will happen at our next stated meeting on November 10th. We hope you can make it and cast your vote to elect your officers for the 2027 Masonic year.
