From The East

Greetings, Brethren.

It has been a fantastic start to Spring for Milford Lodge. Since our last stated meeting in March, we hosted a Past Masters Dinner. A member of our lodge conducted a tactical training for brothers and their families. We had a lodge outing at a Cyclones Game. We initiated 3 Entered Apprentices. Our Lodge also did the drawing for our Gun Raffle, and hosted a fun March Madness Bracket for members.

Our trustees have done landscaping in the front of the building, as well as replaced our sign out front. We can’t thank them enough for all of the hard work they have been putting in this year.

At our April Stated meeting, we had a brother successfully return his EA proficiency, as well as 2 successful MM proficiencies. We were presented with the cornerstone from our old Lodge building. We also presented a local charity, Autism Rocks, with a check for over $5,000 that we raised through our Gun Raffle. With the assistance of our brothers, we were able to fundraise a good amount of money and provide necessities to a brother of our district whose family suffered a house fire. Milford Lodge also had several brothers move up in chairs at the stated meeting in preparation for the next Masonic year.

We have been busy planning for many upcoming events, that we hope you will consider participating in. We are looking for volunteers to help run our Rummage Sale between the hours of 9am-6pm, Friday May 15th- Sunday May 17th. We are accepting donations up until those dates. We are looking for volunteers to help work our Pasta Dinner on Tuesday, May 19th from 4pm-7pm (event starts at 5pm). If you’re interested in donating for our rummage sale or volunteering for either event, please reach out to me to coordinate times.

Please check out our events section below to see everything that is coming up. Details for these events can be found on our website at www.MilfordFreemasons.com. We sincerely hope to see you at Lodge soon.

Fraternally,

Brad Bukauskas
