From The East

Greetings, Brethren.
It has been a great start to the year. Since our last correspondence, we have hosted our Annual Holiday Party as well as our Annual Awards ceremony. Milford Lodge put on our first Entered Apprentice degree of the year. Our Trustees have been productive around the lodge. They've painted the stairs, added grip tape for the stairs, added a conference table in our upstairs library, hung shadowboxes, the Grand Tyler's sword, and tapestry on the walls of the lodge room. They have replaced our Flag on the roof of the building as well. We had our Pre-Inspection on the same day as our January stated meeting. It was a great stated. We voted on 2 new candidates as well as a plural member. There was 1 EA proficiency, 1 FC proficiency, and 1 MM proficiency, all favorably returned.
We have already begun traveling to other lodges in our district for inspection season, and we really hope you can come join us at some of these events for a night of bonding and fellowship. Our Fellowcraft team has been hard at work practicing for Milford Lodge’s MM Inspection on February 2nd. If interested in ever participating in our Master Mason degrees, please reach out to our Junior Warden, Tim Hentenaar to be put on our Fellowcraft Team List. I hope everyone had a great holiday season. One great fundraiser that we would love to invite you and your family to is our first Pasta Dinner of the year, held on Saturday, January 17th from 5pm-8pm. It will be an all you can eat pasta dinner for $10 per person. Kids 6 and under eat for free. There will be varieties of pasta available and should be fun for the whole community as well as a great fundraiser for the lodge. We hope you can join us at one of the many upcoming events at Milford Lodge.
Fraternally Yours,
Brad Bukauskas
